Jimmie Wayne Hicks, 68, of Judsonia died Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at White County Medical Center in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born June 18, 1944 near Searcy. He is the second son of the late Martin Alexander Hicks and Eva Leavern Whisnant Hicks.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, David Arthur Hicks and Martin Willis Hicks.
He is survived by five daughters; Cara Carrillo, Lynne Perdue, April Currier, Shauna Haynes and Fallon Hopper; one brother, Billy Don Hicks and one sister, Debra Jean Collison and eight grandchildren.
Wayne was a Christian and a retired truck driver. He served his country during the Cold War as a U.S. Army Combat Engineer and Air Defense Artilleryman. Before his health failed him, he was known in Pangburn as The Fisherman.
Visitation will be held 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 24th at Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
