Jimmy Don Jackson, 79, of Searcy passed away February 1, 2018 at Unity Health Medical Center. Jimmy Don was born March 4, 1938 in Brinkley, Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Bernice Jackson; and one brother, Tommy.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Nancy; one son, Mike Jackson; one daughter, Johnna Hart (Mike); one granddaughter, Alexa; one grandson, Jackson, and one brother, Steve Jackson (Linda).
Jimmy Don was passionate about his family (especially his grandchildren), as well as golf, travel, the Razorbacks, hunting, and fishing, but the things he cherished most about those activities were the relationships formed with dear friends.
Jimmy Don was recognized by many nicknames, but his favorite was “Old Dude,” given to him by Alexa and Jackson and their friends on the golf course.
Jimmy Don was a member of the First Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder.
A Memorial Service will be held Monday, February 5th at 1:00pm at the First Presbyterian Church of Searcy, followed by a reception in the Fellowship Hall.

All Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
