John Nathan Long

John Nathan Long, 78, of Searcy went home to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Saturday, September 7, 2024 surrounded by his children. He was born May 30, 1946 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to Rev. James Irenas Long and Lennie Mae Clark Long. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Teresa D. (Daily) Long; brothers, James "Jimmy" Long, David Long, Daniel "Danny" Long; sister, Joyce A. Ellis.

He is survived by his children, Patricia Long, Jeremy Long, and John Long; sisters, Lois Hargrove and Ruth Neeley; grandchildren, Jennifer Long, Jade Long, Destinie. Long, Stella Story, Lillyanne Couture, Abraham Long, Judah Long, Georgia Long, Silas Long; great-grandchildren, Tara Stanley, Cody Stanley, Madden Canard, Rhyland Canard and Millie Mourer.

A memorial gathering will be held at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be private. Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home, www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com
