John E. Whitley

John (Red) Whitley, age 72, of Bradford, Arkansas died Saturday, October 27, 2007. He was born March 22, 1935 in Bradford, to the late Walter and Nona Roberts Whitley. He was a self-employed construction worker.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Carroll (Bub), George, and Michael Whitley; and a sister, Belb Sterling.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hunter of Bradford; two daughters, Bridgette Jeffries of Little Rock, Arkansas and Sue Wilson of Tuckerman, Arkansas; five sisters, Runnell Thrift of Austin, Arkansas, Sharon Willis of Dulac, Louisiana, Phyllis Willis of Bradford, Joyce Ann Limbert of Ector, Texas and Edith Thrift of Carlisle, Arkansas; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two uncles; one aunt; and a host of nieces and nephews.
