John Woodall

John Woodall Junior, 81, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 27, 2007. He was born October 19, 1926, in Malvern, Arkansas, to John Franklin and Maudie Bell Shockley Woodall. He was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Navy in the South Pacific. He retired in 1985 from being a truck driver for thirty years. John Woodall accepted Jesus as his Savior many years ago and was a faithful member of Bethel Missionary Baptist Church at the time of his departure into glory.

John Woodall was preceded in death by his parents, six sisters, and two grandsons. He is survived by his loving wife of fifty-four years, Lavada Ann Woodall of Searcy, five children, Gail Jean Pimper (Gene) of Norco, California, John William Woodall of San Bernadino, California, Dennis Mark Woodall (Theresa) of Bald Knob, Arkansas, Rhonda Ann Baker (Terry) of Oakhurst, California, and Timothy Woodall of Roseburg, Oregon; two sisters, Marie Medlin and Leona Robbins; nine grandchildren, nineteen great- grandchildren, seventeen nieces and nephews, a loving church family, neighbors and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. Sunday, at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 3, 2007 at the Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 2504 West Beebe-Capps Expressway, Searcy, Arkansas with Brethren John Bagby and Jerry Grace officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Garden in Searcy.
