Johnnie Rae Ballew

Johnnie Rae Ballew, 75, of Pangburn went to be with the Lord, Thursday, September 25, 2014. She was born July 15, 1939 to the late John and Lula (King) Miley in Terry, Louisiana.

Johnnie loved to travel, RV style. She was a much loved member of Revival Church and she enjoyed attending services with her brothers and sisters in Christ. Johnnie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother who treasured her family. She was loved by all who knew her and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by husband of 57 years, Calvin Ballew; two sons, Calvin E. Ballew and wife, Renee of Jackson, Georgia, and George W. Ballew and wife, Deborah of Prospect, Tennessee; three daughters, Sonja Elliott and husband, Tommy of Hernando, Mississippi, Sheila Turner and husband, Denzil of Horn Lake, Mississippi, and Tracy Bane, husband, Paul of Rose Bud, Arkansas; one sister, Tressie Gallman of Chatsworth, Georgia; fifteen grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and seven sisters.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday, September 29, 2014 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 9:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30th at Revival Church in Searcy with interment following at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery.
All funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
