Joyce Ann Biery

Joyce Ann (Roberson) Biery, 67, of Searcy, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at home. She was born October 23, 1956, in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Burl and Rosalee (Sullivan) Roberson. Joyce was a homemaker and a member of the West Point Church of Christ. She married the love of her life on March 25, 1975 and they spent 37 years together before he passed away on March 14, 2013. Joyce was the ultimate homemaker, wife, mother, and grandmother. She took care of her family in every sense of the word, from cooking and cleaning to tending to her garden. Her family and friends never went without a home-cooked meal. 

She is survived by her children, Leeia Osborn and husband Brian, Dan Biery, and Wendy Wilson and husband David; grandchildren, Zac Osborn, Meagan Brewer (Hudson), Laura Sarrels (Cody), Allison Biery, Christina Zimmerman (Steven), and Layne Grady (Shelby); great-grandchildren, Dixie, Hadlee, Flora, Koe, Hayze, Gatlen, Legacy, Royalty, Lillianna, Rosalee, Daisy, Magnolia and Jasmine; and siblings, Linda Nelson, Danny Roberson, Robbie Roberson (Linda), and Jesse “Andy” Roberson (Pamela). 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Gibbs Biery; great-grandson, Kantyn Sarrels; brother-in-law, Gary Nelson and Sister-in-law, Linda Roberson.

Visitation will be held Thursday from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Services will be conducted, at 11:00 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow in the Gum Springs Cemetery.
