Joyce Isbell Davis, 89, of Cabot formally of Searcy passed away Tuesday, August 8th at Spring Creek Health and Rehab. She was born August 13, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Clarence and Grace (Neville) Isbell.
Joyce spent her time working as an Executive Secretary for International Harvester and as a legal secretary with Attorneys’ Smith and Wilson in Michigan. She was active in Home Makers Extension. Joyce was a volunteer for multiple organizations. She loved knitting and playing cards. Her most treasured pass time was spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend who will be dearly missed.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Kenneth Henkle of California; Sandi Siler of Cabot; Buddy Davis (Lisa) of Albion; and Sandy Rocka and Karla Baker (Boyd) all of Texas; nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren; three brothers, Warren Isbell (RoseMarie) of Arizona, Wayne Isbell (Cathy) of Michigan, and Niel Isbell (Karin) of Michigan; and one sister, Bonnie Brabender of Michigan.
In addition to her parents Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Ferrell Davis.
Visitation will be Saturday, August 12th from 6:00-8:00pm at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be Sunday, August 13th at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church of Searcy with burial following at Mount Pisgah Cemetery.
All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
