Kelly Joe Lee

Kelly Joe Lee, 60, of Searcy, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, October 23, 2023. Kelly was born November 14, 1962 to Willeda Joyce Flowers and Robert G. Lee, Jr. in Searcy Arkansas. Kelly is preceded in death by his wife, Jacqueline (Jackie) Lee; his father, Robert Lee and step-father, Thomas Zomant.   

Kelly and his late wife, Jackie owned and operated the Floor Store in Searcy for 16 years. He was employed at B&G Pipeline Company for 14 years as a Foreman and was loved and respected by everyone at his job.

Kelly was a loving father and papaw. He enjoyed bass fishing, hunting, listening to music and above all spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was a free spirit that could not be contained and a father-figure to many. He was a Deacon at Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the Pipeliners Local Union 798.  He loved and instilled the love of Jesus Christ in his children. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his mother, Joyce Flowers; his step-father, Billy Flowers; his brother, Brian Lee and wife, Drenda; his sister, Andrea Lee, his two sons, Scotty and wife, Kayla, and Garrett Lee; his grandchildren, Grace, Madison, and Katy Joe Lee, Colten Smith, and Kinnley Brady; his great-grandchildren, Zebadiah West, and Rainy Lee; along with his nieces, nephews and all those who considered him to be their Papaw.

A funeral service celebrating Kelly’s life will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 1508 W Center St., Searcy on Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial at Mt. Pisgah Cemetery.  Arrangements by Searcy McEuen Funeral Home, searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
