Kenneth D Cross

Kenneth Daniel Cross, of Judsonia, departed this life Monday November 29, 2010 in Searcy, Arkansas. He was born January 16, 1935 in Beverly, Kansas, the son of Harold and Helen Cross. At the age of 12, he was baptized and joined the First Christian Church of Durant, Oklahoma. He was a US Navy Veteran and a bulldozer operator, having worked for Johnny Brock Excavating for 30 years.

He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was a faithful attendee of the Searcy Cumberland Presbyterian Church for 38 years and was dearly loved by the members there.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, and a sister. Survived by his wife of 47 years, Wilma Townsend Cross; 5 sons, Kyle (Krissy) Cross and Blake (Vicki) Cross of Judsonia, Kenny Cross and Neil Cross of McRae, and Vance Cross of Berryville; grandchildren, Tyler, Matt (Cassie), Taylor, Lauren, and Parker; Great grandchildren, Gavin and Jayden; Sisters, Nadine Johnston and Sharon Woodside.

Visiting hours will be held Wednesday December 1 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday at the River of Life Church in Judsonia.

Interment will follow in Kensett Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
