Kimberly Jo Smith

Kimberly Jo Smith, 42, of Searcy, passed from this life Sunday, June 9, 2013. She was born February 26, 1971 in Searcy to Joe and Katie Lindsey Latimer.

Kim was a member of Holly Springs Church of Christ; a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She always saw the good in everyone. The greatest love of her life was her son of 6 years, Matthew. All who knew her will have a tremendous void in their lives and her sweet presence can never be replaced.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bill and Kathryn Lindsey and paternal grandparents, Ralph and Rena Latimer.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband of 13 years, Bobby Smith; son, Matthew Smith; mother-in-law, Polly Smith; sisters, Chandra Denison and husband Michael, and Catherine Benton and husband Andy; nieces and nephews, Caitlyn and Hunter Denison, Lexie Howard, Madison Simmons, Joe Andrew Benton, Austin Benton, Lynn Smith and wife Lorissa, and Devin Gavin. She is also survived by many-many other relatives and friends.

Visiting hours are 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services are 10:00 a.m. Thursday, in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel with Barry Bentley officiating. Burial will follow at Cheek Cemetery near Vinity.
