Larry J Froud

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Larry James Froud, 80, of Judsonia, AR, who entered the Lord's presence on April 12, 2025. He was born on May 30, 1944, in Steprock, Arkansas, to James E. Froud and Golda Froud. He is preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Darlene Froud Maddox and Pauline Marie Thomas.

Larry was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. His journey on this earth was marked by love, compassion, hard work, and unwavering faith in God as a Baptist Christian.

At an early age, he joined the Army and worked as a Civil Engineer before joining Coca-Cola, where he worked for five years before starting his career with Yarnell’s Ice Cream. Known for his positive traits related to his career as a route salesman, people knew him for his dedication, kindness, work ethic, compassion, and great sense of humor. He truly enjoyed connecting with people, never met a stranger, and always had a joke. It’s no wonder he was one of the top 3 salesmen in Yarnell’s Ice Cream during his career. Larry had an excellent driving record with over 3 Million miles with no accidents and was always setting new records in the company. He left a lasting impact on those he served and worked alongside for 32 years before retiring in 2003.

His faith was a cornerstone of his life, and he often shared his love for Jesus Christ with others. He found joy in spending time outdoors, and his legacy of love, faith, and service will forever be cherished by his family and friends.

Larry is survived and missed by his loving wife, Alice Froud, of 40 years. His memory lives with his son, Kevin Kinard Froud, of Maumelle, AR. He is forever cherished and remembered by his granddaughter Brittany Pearrow husband, Jake, of Searcy, AR, and one great-granddaughter, Lucy, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

A Visitation will be held at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home on Thursday, April 17, 2025 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. followed by a graveside at Roosevelt Cemetery in Judsonia, AR. www.searcymceuenfuneralhome.com.
