Lavelle Pasley Clare

Lavelle Pasley Clare, 76, of Pangburn went to be with the Lord, Friday, January 27^th at Advanced Care Hospital. She was born April 19, 1946, in Searcy, Arkansas to the late Thurman and Jewell (Johnson) Pasley.

Lavelle graduated Magna Cum Ladue from Harding University in Social Work. She was a study helper for World Bible School. She was a member of Pine View Church of Christ since she was 15 years old. Christianity has been the strongest positive influence in her life. Lavelle said, she had suffered losses in life that she didn’t know how she would have survived without prayer and leaning on the Lord Jesus Christ. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 43 years, Darrel Clare; one son, Mark Helms (Anita) of Bald Knob; five daughters, Sharon Spencer (Bobby) of Searcy, Angela Oneal (Kirk) of Searcy, Sarah Melton (James) of Springdale, Natalie Miller of Paragould, and Grace Holland (Tristan) of Searcy; thirteen grandchildren, great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and church family.

In addition to her parents, Lavelle is preceded in death by one grandson, Hunter Chapman, two great grandchildren; three brothers, Noel, Bobby, and Jerry Pasley; and one sister, Retha Vest.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-10:30 AM, Saturday, February 4^th at Pine View Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, February 4^th at Pine View Church of Christ with burial following at Howell Cemetery.

All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
