Lawrence D. Bennett

Lawrence Bennett, 68, of Letona, Arkansas went to be with his Lord March 9, 2008. He was born October 21, 1939 in Letona, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his father Lorinzo "Bigeon" Bennett. He served six years in the U.S. Navy and was a retired truck driver. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and loved being outdoors, as well as spending time with friends and family. He was a loving husband, dad, papaw, brother and son. Lawrence never met a stranger and was the kind of friend that everyone should have. He will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his mother, Elva Bennett; his loving wife, Sandra Bennett; four sons, Rocky Bennett; Donald Bennett and wife Linda; Scott Porter and wife Deidra; Michael Porter and wife Aimee; one daughter, Jamie Fair and husband Jeremy; two brothers Larry and Sherrell Bennett; twelve grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
