Leon Darrell Brackenridge

Leon Darrell Brackenridge,64, passed away May 3, 2019.  He was born in Osceola, Arkansas to the late Ocie and Ellena Brackenridge on March 23, 1955.

Leon Darrell was married to his wife Sharon Brackenridge for 43 years.  He loved spending time with his family and grandkids.  He enjoyed a number of hobbies like trading cars, grilling (which he was great at), and watching westerns.  In his early years he liked driving fast and considered himself a Burt Reynolds look alike.  He got a thrill out of making others laugh.  He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Brackenridge, one son; William Delaine Brackenridge (Shalae), one daughter; Larissa Stephens (Michael), 8 grandchildren; Tristion Brackenridge, Tyler Brackenridge, Kayne Brackenridge, Kaylee Brewster, Makayla Stephens, Kaitlyn Stephens, Anna Stephens, and Micah Stephens, one brother; James Brackenridge (Shirley), four sisters; Joyce Stevens (Gerald), Sylvia Hooten, Geraldine McGarrity (Charles) and Shirley Howard (Larry).

In addition to his parents he is preceded by four brothers; Verlie Brackenridge, Tommy Brackenridge, Eddie Wayne Brackenridge, and LaVerl Brackenridge, three sisters; Doris Schmidt, Goldie Reed, and Juanita Rigsby.

Visitation will be Monday, May 6th from 6-8 p.m. at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be Tuesday, May 7th at 2 p.m. at Searcy McEuen.  Burial will follow at Faith Cemetery on highway 16.
