Leta Iris Barber

Leta Iris Barber, 92, of Searcy, died December 3, 2013 at Searcy Healthcare Center. She was born April 1, 1921 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Carl and Nora Bratcher Rogers. Mrs. Barber was a member of Dogwood Methodist Church in Griffithville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Brownie Barber; one daughter, Elaine Jackson; and one grandchild.
She is survived by one son, Wayne Barber of Plano, Texas; one brother, Luke Rogers of Okeechobee, Florida; two sisters, Ruby Kilcreast of Cordell, Georgia and Ruth Zebendon of Wauchula, Florida; five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 12, 2013 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Baldwyn, Mississippi.
