Linda L. Jackson, 63, of Bradford, died May 14, 2011. She was born April 14, 1948 in Newport to the late Delmos and Liza Vickers Clark.
Linda was a joyous, loving person. She cherished her family, especially her husband of 26 years, James Jackson, and granddaughter Braylen; sons John Britt and wife Angelia of Vilonia, and Dale Jackson and wife Malinda of Newark; son-in-law, Bryan Strickland of Bradford; daughters, Jamie Strickland of Tupelo, Arkansas; special daughter-in-law, Wendy Woods-Thomas; five brothers, three sisters, three grandsons, 10 granddaughters, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to spending time with her family, she loved hunting, sewing, and taking care of her children and grandchildren and was always a faithful servant to her Lord and Savior, in which she attended the Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Bradford.
She was preceded in death by her father, Delmos Clark and mother "Granny Tom" Mabry; two brothers, Clifton and D.C. Clark; and one beloved daughter, Tori Lee Ward.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, May 16 from 6-8 PM at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.
Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery in Bradford under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
