Mamie Lee Prior

Mamie Lee Kelley (Craig) Prior passed away peacefully at 6:00 AM on April 4, 2008 following several heart problems. Mamie was born September 7, 1912 in Sulligent, Alabama. She moved her family to Quanah, Texas at an early age walking behind a wagon part of the time with her Mother.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Jesse Craig, by her second husband, Nathan Prior and one Grandson, Leonard Williams. Mamie and Jesse had seven children; Wanda Williams, Frances Martin, Virginia McBurney, Norma Schinnerer, Eddie Craig, Nancy Collins, and Marilyn Stenger. Mamie had 29 Grandchildren, 50 Great-Grandchildren, and 24 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Mamie attended the College Church of Christ while in Searcy and was a member of the Toddville Church of Christ in Toddville, Iowa. Arrangements entrusted to the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas.
