Marian Jean (Fisher) Epperson Stewart

Marian Jean (Epperson) Stewart, 90, of Searcy went to be with the Lord, Sunday, November 10th at Unity Health Medical Center. She was born April 17, 1929 in Newport, Arkansas to the late D.T. and Maxine Fisher.

Jean had the gift of joy. She had a way to brighten everyone’s day with her contagious laughter. Everyone loved to hear her laugh. Jean was humble, she never wanted to be a burden on anybody. She was a wonderful cook. She loved and cherished all her family.  Jean loved going to church and she truly loved her church family. Jean was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish her memory is one son, Dennis Brooks (Glenda); and one daughter, Irene Chapman (David) all of Searcy; one brother, Roger Fisher of Olyphant, Arkansas; two sisters, Jeri Meyhue and Norma Snook (Melvin) all of Searcy; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

In addition to her parents Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Epperson; one son, Randy Epperson; one grandson, Kennley Brooks; and one sister, Barbara Croom.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Thursday, November 14th at Pine View Church of Christ.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, November 14th at Pine View Church of Christ with burial following at Coffeeville Cemetery.
