Marion Nichols

Marion J. Nichols, 87, of Pangburn, passed away Friday, August 9, 2024 at Conway Regional Medical Center. She was born January 9, 1937 in Brooklyn, New York to the late Angelo and Elizabeth (Paulson) Marino. Marion was Baptist in faith and was very passionate about animals. She loved flower gardening and had helped to set up a no-kill animal shelter in town. 

She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Porter Nichols; son, John Mitchell, Sr.; grandsons, Angelo Mitchell, John Mitchell, Jr., and Patrick Mitchell; great-grandchildren, Caitlynn Robbins and McKenzie Hinderer; and nieces, Maria Digirolamo and Elizabeth Digirolamo Fiore. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and siblings, Helen Digirolamo and Johnny Marino. 

Visitation will be 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
