Marvin Merle Gilley

Marvin Merle Gilley, 65, of Ward, died June 25, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 21, 1947 in Monarch, Arkansas to the late Oral B. Gilley and Tressa E. Sanders.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Kevin Merle Gilley; two brothers, James and John Gilley; two sisters, Peggy Ruth Gilley and Velma Norena Wendland.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Thompson Gilley of the home; sons, Bradley Marvin Gilley of Green Forrest, Arkansas, Marvin G. Gilley of Searcy; step son, James C. Abner of Joplin, Missouri; three daughters, Delinda Beth Richardson of Berryville, Arkansas, Melissa Mcnair of Beebe, Arkansas, and Della Wyman of Cabot, Arkansas; one brother, Kenneth Gilley of Altoona , Pennsylvania; one sister, Agnes Crowley of Searcy, Arkansas; and ten grandchildren.

Graveside services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Carter Cemetery in Russell under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
