Mary Alice Flynn, 87, of Judsonia went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday, October 26th at Unity Health in Searcy. She was born October 13, 1929 in Norman, Arkansas to the late Samuel and Pearl (Graves) Sublette.
Mary graduated in Norman, Arkansas, and then went on to Beauty College in Hot Springs. She traded her career to become a full time mother and homemaker. She celebrated God and was a member of the Judsonia United Methodist Church where she was the organist for many years. She has been a member of St. James Catholic Church for the last eight years. Mary was a perfect example of a godly woman. She loved the Lord and her faith was an inspiration to all who knew her. Mary had a passion for feeding both body and soul. Her southern cooking was loved by all. She left a legacy of love and family. There was never a visit to her house without a game of dominos; where you always played by grandma's rules. She had a way of loving people that made them feel as if they were home. To be loved by her was a gift. She will be greatly missed beyond words, and never forgotten.
