Mary Etta Hodshire

Mary Etta Hodshire, 87, of Vilonia went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, July 17th at her home. She was born May 3, 1934, in Pleasant Plains, Arkansas to the late James Glenn and Gertie Irene (Martin) McDougal.

Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Peggy A. Elliott; one son, Robert E. Hodshire; grandchildren, Joshua Elliott, Sarah Matthews, Tiffany Vertner, and Robert J. Hodshire (RJ); great grandchildren, Sarra Spears, Cheyenne Sanders, Abbygale Elliott, Kolt Elliott, Cody Cox, Kelsi Matthews, and Ryker Perry; one great great grandchild, Letty Sharp; one daughter in-law, Carey Hodshire; two brothers, two sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by four sons, James Hodshire, Ronald Hodshire, Billy Hodshire, and Jackson Hodshire; two sisters, Ann Shane, and Sarah Gilbert; three brothers, Paul McDougal, Richard McDougal, and Joe Enoch McDougal; one son in-law, Gary Elliott, and one great grandson, Brian Cox.

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 20th from 11:00-2:00 PM at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Pleasant Plains.
Funeral services will start at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, July 20th at Union Grove Missionary Baptist Church with burial following at Union Grove Cemetery.
