Mary Elizabeth Mann

Mary Elizabeth Mann, 78, of Searcy, went to be with the Lord February 1, 2008. She was born in Griffithville, Arkansas to the late Jesse Aaron and Lerline Manette Stitt Pence. She is preceded by her husband William C. "Bill" Mann Jr. and a sister, Leah Katherine Creamer.

She is survived by two sons, William Clark "Bill" Mann III and his wife Karon of Little Rock; and Robert A. "Bob" Mann and his wife Anne of Conway; six grandchildren, Stephanie Martin of Bald Knob, Melissa Nelson of Searcy, David Mann and Mary Catherine Mann, both of Little Rock, Connor and Chloe Porter of Conway, six great grandchildren, and a host of friends.

Mrs. Mann served as the White County Clerk from 1985 until her retirement in 1994. She was a charter member of the Grace Methodist Church and the St. Paul Methodist Church in Searcy. She was a loving mother, grandmother and loved by all who knew her.

Memorial services are scheduled for Monday, February 4, 2:00 PM at the St. Paul's Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Paul Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society.
