Mattie J. Crouch

Mattie Crouch, 96 of Searcy died November 23, 2006. She was born February 13, 1910 in Newport, Arkansas; was a member of Hickory Ridge Church of Christ and attended the Cloverdale Church of Christ the past several years. She won two years in a row the Senior Citizen Award in Searcy from Harding University and was elected Most Popular Lady at Byrd Haven Nursing Home. She is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Elwood (Pete) Crouch; one son, R.T. Crouch and 4 grandchildren.

Survivors include three sons, Frank Crouch of Hickory Ridge,AR; Verlin Crouch of Edgemont, AR; Shelby Crouch of Searcy, AR; three daughters, Marie Bixler of Sacramento, CA; Artie McCain of Searcy, AR; Sandra Rolland of Cherry Valley, AR; 17 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren.
