Melissa Dawn Lowry

Melissa Dawn Lowry, 43, of Beebe went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, July 22nd at Advanced Care Hospital. She was born September 13, 1977, in Belleville, Illinois to Mike and Kathy (Holliday) Mann.

Melissa was a member of Gracepoint Church in Beebe where she served as Youth Pastor alongside her husband, Eli for 12 years. She was affectionately known as “Mama Bear” to the Youth, and if you messed with one of them you would quickly find out why they called her Mama Bear. Melissa was a compassionate, kind, loving person who always looked out for others. She loved to laugh and make others laugh. She impacted the lives of so many during her lifetime and you did not have to be blood for Melissa to consider you family. Melissa was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend who will be missed beyond measure.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 16 years, Eli Lowry; two daughters, Lexi and Lily Lowry; one son, Luke Lowry all of Beebe; her parents, Mike and Kathy Mann of Heber Springs; one brother, Jimmy Guffey of Heber Springs; one sister, Amanda Durham of Freeburg, Illinois; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and all her Gracepoint Family.
Melissa was preceded in death by one sister, Angel Lynn: and one brother, Jimmy Durham.
Visitation will be held from 2:00-4:00 PM, Sunday, July 25th at Revival Church in Searcy.
Funeral Services will start at 4:00 PM, Sunday, July 25th at Revival Church with Pastor Rich Price officiating.
Interment will be at Beebe Cemetery immediately following the funeral service.
Active Pallbearers will be Tyler Hurley, Jerry Pierce, Michael Guffey, Matt Turner, Micah Davidson, Zach McGinnis, Caleb Weatherly, George “Goob” Turner, Steve Rainwater, and Donna Holliday. Honorary Pallbearers will be Mike Mann, Jimmy Guffey, and the Gracepoint Youth.
