Mildred Ophelia Bostic, 89 of Kensett passed away Sunday, April 19, 2015 at White County Medical Center. She was born January 1, 1926 in Kensett, Arkansas to the late William and Melissa (Riggins) Ausburn.
Mildred was a member of Kensett First Baptist Church. She loved her church and was a faithful worker in the church. Mildred was an office manager at Christopher Homes for several years and she was a district representative for Stanley Home Products for 40 years.
Mildred is survived by her one son, Layton J. Bostic (Phyllis) of Searcy; one daughter, Frances Rolett of Kensett; ten grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Layton "RL" Bostic; one daughter, Mildred Ellen Bostic; six brothers, and two sisters; she was also preceded by longtime companion, William "Bill" Dugger.
Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21st at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 21st at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Clement officiating.
Interment will follow at Kensett Cemetery.
