Neamon D. Taylor

February 21, 1930 — April 6, 2013

Neamon D. Taylor, 83 passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013 at White County Medical Center. He was born February 21, 1930 in Floyd, Arkansas to the late Nute Gibson Taylor and Manervia Stracner Taylor.

Neamon loved life. He was always helping people. He kept busy not one to sit around and do nothing. He enjoyed playing cards. He loved to "cut-up" always joking or trying to prank someone. He was a man who laughed a lot. He loved going to church. He treasured his family. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was loved by all who knew him and will truly be missed.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by five brothers, Leaster, Cleatus, Lester, Dillion, and Glendale Taylor; two sisters, Vernie Williams and Irkle Taylor.

He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Elwanda Taylor; two daughters, Linda Livingston and husband Steve of Cypress, California, and Diane Taylor of Bellflower, California; two stepdaughters, Rachel Jordan and husband Gene of Searcy, Wilma Crowe and husband Frank of South Carolina; two stepsons, Leonard Southard and wife Peggy of Searcy and Harold Southard and wife Sharon of Searcy; two sisters, Morene Butler and Hope Dean Harrell both of Beebe. Ten grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, April 10th from 6-8 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
Funeral services are 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 11th at the Searcy-McEuen Chapel with burial following at Holly Springs Cemetery.
