Nelly M. Lasley

Nelly Marcelle Ghislaine Lasley, 85 of Searcy, died January 4, 2007. She was born January 25, 1921 in Charleroi, Belgium. She was of the Catholic faith. She was retired from the International Shoe Factory and was a seamstress and homemaker. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Germmain Monfils and Marie Georgina Louisa Evrard; her husband, Lee Roy Lasley; and a brother, Marcel Monfils.

She is survived by her son, Richard Lasley and wife Jane, of Searcy; a sister-in-law, DiDi Monfils, of Charleroi, Belgium; grandchildren, Chris and Beth Lasley, Gina Bellamy, Bob and Sandra Boyles, and Susan and Bobby Hudson; and great-grandchildren, Adam, Haley and Jacob Sexton, Seth Bellamy, Jessie Lasley, Ashly and Dani Boyles, Cassie Goodman, Nick, Veronique and Monica Hudson, Travis, Sean and Randall Gausman.
