Ollie Stovall

Ollie Rhodes Bostic Stovall "Grandma", of Searcy, went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 7, 2006. She was 91 years old. She was born in Vell, Missouri on March 16, 1915 to Sylvester and Mary Rhodes. Her favorite memories throughout her life were church, her family, camping, fishing, going for walks and cooking.
She is survived and cherished by her three grandchildren: Melinda and Scott Russell of Searcy, JoAnne Oliver of Searcy, and Gary Bostic II of Greers Ferry. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren who always brought a smile to her face and loved her dearly: Jonathan Russell, Nathaniel Russell, Ethan Oliver, Christian Oliver, Grayson Oliver, all of Searcy, and Nicholas Bostic of Indiana. She is also survived by one sister, Opal Hudspeth of Searcy and one brother, Gene Rhodes of Searcy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her son and daughter-in-law, Gary Lee Bostic I and Margaret Diane Bostic; her husband and true love, Sandford "Sandy" Bostic; husbands, Jess "Grandpa" Randolph and Ralph "Gramps" Stovall; brothers, Leonard Rhodes, Chester Rhodes, Raymond Rhodes and infant brother Orace Rhodes; and sisters, Ethel Gray, Edith Scott and Mattie Hudspeth.
Her grandchildren would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Searcy Healthcare, where she was known as "Jolly Ollie", for the special way they cared for her and went out of their way to provide comfort to the family.
