Opal Lucille Jackson

October 12, 1916 — October 4, 2009

Opal "Lucille" Jackson, 92 of Searcy, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, October 4, 2009. She was born in north White county on October 12, 1916 to the late Charles and Florence Jenkins. She grew up in Gregory, Arkansas and graduated from Augusta High School. After marrying, she relocated to Berkley, California and began her career at the University of California as a master book binder where she worked for over thirty years in Cal Berkley's publishing house. Mrs. Jackson was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gene Paul Jackson; one brother, Wayne Jenkins; one nephew, Randy Jenkins.

She is survived one niece, Patricia Jenkins and her husband Rich; two nephews, Jimmy Jackson and his wife, Donna and Billy Jackson and his wife Mary Ann.
She is also survived by many other relatives and a host of friends, all who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held 6:00 - 8:00 P.M, Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy, Arkansas.

Graveside funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, October 7, 2009 at Leggett Cemetery in Clay, AR.
