Patricia "Pat" Dale Langford

On Monday, April 10, 2023, Patricia “Pat” Dale Langford, 62, was welcomed into the arms of the Lord. She peacefully passed away surrounded by her loved ones at her home in Searcy after a long battle with cancer.

Pat was born on June 9, 1960, in Newnan, Georgia, to her late parents Cordell and Robert Creel. She spent most of her childhood in the state of Mississippi and her later years in Florida and Arkansas, where she retired.

Pat spent most of her life caring for others. From caring for the elderly in nursing homes to abandoned or injured animals, she opened her humble heart to all. In her free time, she tended to the endless flowers and plants on her beautiful property that she loved dearly. She also enjoyed cooking for her family. She was known for her incredible dressing dish, tasty homemade biscuits, and a breakfast better than what any restaurant could assemble. 

Pat played a very influential role in the lives of her grandchildren. She was the first to act when one of her grandchildren was ill. She took them to church every Sunday and taught them the significance of the Lord and His Word. She raised them to live with loving hearts and open arms to others.

Pat is survived by her husband and soulmate of 34 years, Rodger Langford, her brother Johnny (Virginia) Creel, her sister Deborah Carlisle, her daughter Catrina (Rudy) Fuentes, her son Hugh “Bo” Batten, her three grandchildren: Ashleigh, Heather, and Madison, and many other loved ones.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Cordell and Robert Creel, her sister Linda Lewis, her sister Marilyn Harrison, her brother Terry Creel, and best friend of many years, Junell “Mary” Goff.

Pat will especially be remembered by her passion for following Christ and her mission to be a light in the lives of others.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, April 14^th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

All Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
