Patsy Earlene Wheeler passed away on Tuesday, May 30th, at age 85. She spent many of her years as a devoted mother and wife, then later became a baker. Once she retired, she moved to Oklahoma to buy and run a Quick Shop at the center of a small town, where she was able to visit with all the locals. Miss Pat was quite well known and active in the community. Many years later she made the choice to sell her home and the Quick Shop to move back to Texas, closer to more of her children and grandchildren. She spent her remaining years living in Texas, California and then Arkansas. She enjoyed traveling, but her life really revolved around her church, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great great grandchildren. Her faith was strong and she shared her knowledge of Jesus with anyone she could, but never doubt her flare to enjoy life to the best she could. She was full of sass and caught many off-guard over the years. If you knew her, you were familiar with that sassy smile and twinkle in her eye. You could randomly catch her running up the water bill watering the garden she enjoyed so much, dancing down a hall or with strangers on a cruise, or agreeing to unexpected antics with her grandchildren and great grandchildren for a good time. She will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her son, David Daugherty and great grandsons, Devon Necessary and Lexon Looez.
She left behind 4 children: Terry Jackson (Susan), Sherry Banks (Keith), Sterling Daugherty (Amanda Downey), Julia Osborne (Jimmy) and Daughter-in-law Roxanne Daugherty;
Her grandchildren: Sarah Gonzales (Benjamin), Christian Jackson, Gabriel Daugherty, Stephanie Muttavangkul (Own), Shannon Necessary Wilkins (Tyler), Amanda Murphy (Chris Landin), Jared Beesley (Jamie), Kimberly Banks, Keith Banks Jr. (Samantha), Ashley McGee (Matt), Angela Kindell (Lance), Joseph Daugherty (Magen), Alexis Bahador (Parham), Trevor Batton (Lexi), Amber Dickerson (Ricky), Sterling Manter, Marie Manter, Sean Manter (Jayna);
Her great grandchildren: Shelby Ford, Gauge Henson, Giovanni Limon, Oliver Muttavangkul, Sophia Muttavangkul, Elizabeth Griffith, Alexander Griffith (Nicole), Jazmine Necessary, Caleb Landin, Baylee Landin, Piper Beesley, Joseph Banks, James Banks, Aizlin Gomez, Baiyah Gomez, Taitly Banks, Peighton McGee, Grace Countryman, Riley Phillips, Morgan Countrymen, Cash McGee, Jett Kindell, Emmie Daugherty, Josie Daugherty, Hensley Manter, Autumn Manter, Berrick Wells, Devo Wells and Maylee Wells;
