Phillip Rowland Shewmaker

Phillip Rowland Shewmaker Jr., of Searcy passed away Monday, April 18, 2016 at Unity Health. He was born October 15, 1947 in Lafe, Arkansas to the late Phillip Sr. and Juanita (Mosbey) Shewmaker.

Phillip was a car and motorcycle enthusiast. He loved traveling and playing golf. Phillip was a people person, who loved his friends and socializing. Phillip never met a stranger. Over the years his career span from working in retail, restaurants, and trucking. He worked as a manager in all three fields. He was a leader. Phillip was a loving father, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Phillip Shewmaker III of Little Rock; one sister, LaJuana Joan Shewmaker of Searcy; and his significant other, Linda Diane Carroll of Searcy and a host of friends and other family.

In addition to his parents Phillip was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Kaye Jackson; and one sister, Phillis Kaye Shewmaker.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21st at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.

All Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
