Preston David Ellis

Preston David Ellis, went to be with the Lord on May 6, 2007 . He was born January 25, 1931 to the late Edward and Enola Williams Ellis. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the US Army during World War II. He was also preceded in death by one son, Johnny Lee Mason, two brothers; Floyd and Robert Ellis, one sister; Dolly Thomas

He is survived by his wife of 22 years; Ethel Ellis of Searcy; Four sons, Freddie Neal of Little Rock, Robert, Preston Ellis Jr., and Tyrone Ellis all of Minnesota; Four daughter's; Clara Ellis of South Carolina , Linda and husband Reverend Carl Parks, Othella Carter both of Searcy. Margaret Oliver of Memphis, Tennessee; two sisters, Dorothy and husband, Robert Hardaway of . Enola and husband Chester Neal of Akron, Ohio. A host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday, May 11, 2007 at Searcy-McEeun Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, May 12, 2007 at Searcy-McEuen Chapel. Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery
