Rebecca (Becky) Ann Russenberger (nee Doyle), known to many former Judsonia students and colleagues as Becky Wise, aged 63, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, at Denton, Texas. She was born on July 6th, 1958, in Conway, Arkansas, to Riley Doyle and Avanell Doyle-Wood (nee Condray). She was a resident of Searcy, Arkansas, and was a 1976 graduate of Pangburn High School. She received her nursing degree in 1977. She married the late Timothy Russenberger in 1974 in Albion, Arkansas.
She will be forever remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and nurse. She was known throughout the nursing community as a dedicated caregiver that worked hard and treated each patient the same way she would want her loved ones to be treated.
She was a faithful member of Valley Baptist Church and enjoyed what would become her final employment there taking care of members with special needs allowing their families to attend church services and activities. She spent her final years sharing her time between her home and family in Arkansas and her son's home and family in Texas. There is nothing she cherished more than her grandchildren and the time she spent with them. She always made sure to bake their favorite cookies or brownies when she knew they were coming over. She will be dearly missed by her family and by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Russenberger, and her sister-in-law, Judy Doyle. She is survived by her son, Brent Russenberger (Alejandra) of Corinth, TX; her daughter Teri Epperson (Michael) of Judsonia, AR; her grandchildren Ryan Gordon (Alexzandra), Jacob Sutherland, Katie Robertson, Kristi Robertson, Evan Middleton, Kaylee Epperson, Noah Santos, Ava Russenberger, and Jameson Russenberger; her great-granddaughter, Raegan Gordon; her brothers Gary Doyle (Barbara) and Cart Doyle; her sisters Gwen Dunham (Stanley) and Sharon Cullum (Richard); and many other nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Viewing will be Friday, January 14th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at McEuen Funeral Home, 2616 S Main St, Searcy, AR. Family, friends, and others are invited to Valley Baptist Church, 3328 AR-36, Searcy, AR from 10:00 am on Saturday, January 15th to reminisce and honor the life of Becky followed by interment at Henderson Cemetery, Hwy 124, Pangburn, AR.
