Robert Gene Newhouse

Robert Gene Newhouse, 56, of Searcy died February 5, 2012 at White County Medical Center. He was born September 15, 1955 in Bonham, Texas to the late James Walter and Frances Daphine Jones Newhouse. He served two years in the United States Marine Corps, and worked as a machinist in a factory afterwards.

Robert was one of the most caring people that the world will ever see. He was a wonderful Dad, Papa, Son, Brother, Friend, and Family Man. He left a foot print on everyone's heart he ever met. You had to smile when you were around him because he was always joking and really he was a big happy kid. He will always be missed and remembered. He used to say "God takes care of all the little birds, so I know He will take care of me too." God knew it was time to call Robert home and we may not understand why but we must trust God makes no mistakes. He will always be loved and missed. But Robert is now truly happy with no worries.

He is survived by two daughters, Nikki Newhouse of Searcy, and Gina Newhouse of Sherwood; two brothers, Larry Newhouse of Dallas, and Michael Newhouse of Rice, Texas; one sister, Teresa Newhouse of Dallas; and six grandchildren, Shawn Newhouse, Carmen Kittrell, Tallen Durham, Dhakwon, Kaylia, and Dez Crudup.

Visitation will be Friday, February 10, from 5-7 p.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 11, at 11 a.m. at the Searcy-McEuen Chapel.
