ROMMIE DAVENPORT

Rommie E. Davenport, 86, of Judsonia passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at The Springs of Searcy. He was born January 23, 1937 in Sheridan, Arkansas to the late Grover and Grace (Davis) Davenport.

Rommie was the Physical Plant Director for ASU Beebe during his working years, however during his retirement he loved working on the cattle farm with his late wife, Martha of 59 years. He was a loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his two sons, Bruce Davenport (Arnessa) of Judsonia, and Perry Davenport (Bambi) of Denver, Colorado; three grandchildren, five great grandchildren; two brothers, Donald Davenport (Carolyn) of Little Rock and Jerry Davenport (Janet) of Malvern; and one sister, Brenda Gray (Thomas) of Jonesboro; as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his wife, Martha (Richmond) Davenport; his parents, Rommie was preceded in death by one brother, Cledis Davenport.

Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 AM, Saturday, March 25^th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 AM, Saturday, March 25^th at Henderson Cemetery in Pangburn, Arkansas.

All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
