Rosa Lea Grace Gray Anderson Spadaccini, 96, of Searcy, Arkansas passed February 7, 2012. She was born November 3, 1915, in Pampa, Texas, to the late Alonzo and Martha Burton Gray.
She is survived by three daughters, Marveta Foutch, Martha White, and Rosa Marie Slatten; three son-in-laws, Gary Klingenberg, Fred Foutch, and Frank White; fourteen grand-children; Bill Reeves, Kyle Reeves, Rhonda Foutch, Debbie Jones, Laurie Fowler, Lynn Jones, Lorna Riggs, Leslie Miller, Kim Duncan, Shannon Johnson, Bobby Richardson, Ricky Richardson, Kenny White, and Shelly Kumangai; seven step-grandchildren, and thirty-seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two daughters, Doletta Klingenberg, and Sara Barnhart; two husbands, John Henry (Pat) Anderson, and John Spadaccini; one granddaughter, Shirlene Reeves; three brothers, Darrel, Harold, and Al Gray; three sisters, Jewell Patterson, Jessie Cline, and Agnes Wilhelm.
Rosa Lea had many talents. She played the piano and sang in choirs for fifty years at the Baptist Church. She helped support her family by taking in sewing. She made drill team uniforms for several High Schools in California. She took up oil painting at the age of fifty-seven. She graduated from nursing school at the age of seventy-five.
She moved to Searcy seven years ago, when she developed Alzheimer's, and she lived at Searcy Health Care until her death. She was able to play the piano and entertain the residents for many years. She has attended West Side Church of Christ with her daughter and family for the past seven years.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, February 11, at the West Side Church of Christ in Searcy, with interment at Honey Hill Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
