Roy Kenneth Slaughter, Jr.

Roy Kenneth Slaughter, Jr., 70, of Searcy, Arkansas passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024.  He was born in Searcy, Arkansas on September 18, 1953 to Roy Kenneth Slaughter, Sr. and Betty Sue Smith Slaughter.  He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister, Kathy Throckmorton; brother, Sam Slaughter and wife, Penne; 4 nephews; 2 nieces; 3 great-nephews; and 6 great-nieces.

Kenny worked many years in the family business, Smith Monuments.  He was an avid outdoorsman. He loved fishing, camping, driving down old dirt roads, his family, friends, and sharing stories from the good old days.
