Ruth Brown Sharpe

Ruth Brown Sharpe, 82 of Searcy died August 16, 2006. Born December 6, 1923 in Mount Joy, Penn., she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Edna Kaufman Brown. She was a member of the Trinity Parish Episcopal Church where she served on the Alter Guild. She was also a member of the Episcopal Church women's group and founding member of St. Clare Needlework Guild. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clair Wilbur Sharpe; two brothers, Edward and Robert Brown; one sister, Izella Brown Packer.

Survivors include one son, Robert E. Sharpe and wife Beth of Searcy; one daughter, Margery S. Altom and husband Troy of Searcy; two grandchildren, Jeremy Kyle Sharpe and Cody Wade Sharpe.
