Samson Abdul Muhammad

Samson Abdul Muhammad, 78, of Searcy, Arkansas, was born to Emmitt and Sarah (Paskell) Johnson in New Edinburg, Arkansas on June 16, 1938. He departed this life on December 4, 2016.

Samson served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was an entrepreneur who owned and enjoyed his landscape design business. In addition he was employed for many years by Dr. Porter Rodgers.
He was a lover of nature and had a passion for teaching and sharing wisdom with all that he came in contact with. He could teach any life lesson using a bonsai plant and anyone who came into contact with him was changed after experiencing his life lessons.

Samson married Maryam, his best friend and the love of his life, on November 4, 1962. He is survived by his wife, his brother, Emmitt Johnson, Jr., his sisters, Ivy Johnson, Doris Rainey, Genora Hall, his son, Omar Muhammad (Cindy), and his grandchildren, Shawnice, Frederick, Zakeel, Kayla, and his great grandson, Austin.

Visitation will be Friday, December 9th from 5:00-7:30 p.m. at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the St. Francis Cemetery in New Edinburg, Arkansas.
All Cremation services have been entrusted to Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
