Samuel Scott Pilkington

Samuel Scott Pilkington, age 52, of Searcy passed away Thursday, March 25th at his home. He was born March 2, 1969 in Covington, Tennessee to Sam and the late Clara Jean (Rushing) Pilkington.

Scott was kind, he was loving, and he had a great sense of humor. He always put others first. He loved his wife, Lisa and enjoyed spending time with her. He enjoyed their motorcycle rides, and just being with her and getting out of the house. He loved to travel, he loved music and he loved to play video games. Scott was an outstanding father to Trey, Alisha, and Paige. He loved all his grandchildren they each had a special place in his heart however he really cherished his relationship with Kinslee. He was simply the best Papa you could ask for. His father, Sam, was his best friend. Scott treasured the time they spent hanging out and especially meeting up and having breakfast every morning. Scott was absolutely loved by his family and will be dearly missed.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 25 years, Lisa Pilkington; one son, Trey Pilkington and his wife, Kady; two stepdaughters, Alisha and Paige Hunt; five grandchildren, Rikki Pasteka, Kinslee Pilkington, Haiden Van Dyne, Mason Hunt, and Cheyanne Fortune; his father, Sam Pilkington; one sister, Jennifer Pike and her husband, Kevin; one niece, Erin Pike; one nephew, Jacob Pike; and several other family members and friends.

Scott was preceded in death by his mother, Clara Jean Pilkington.

Memorial Services for Scott will be at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 29th at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
