Sandra Ahnean Feather

Sandra "Ahnean" Feather, 74, stepped from this life into the presence of her Savior on Feb. 25, 2024, with her loving family by her side, having lived a life full of blessings and love.

She was born Sept. 9, 1949, at Rodgers' Hospital in Searcy, AR, to Freddie Loyd and Loleta Gertrude (Hughes) Hill.  In 1965, she met her high school sweetheart, Thomas, who became her husband on Aug. 26, 1967.  

If you knew her, you know she loved music, Jesus, her family, and food, and was the best chocolate gravy maker ever.  She was gifted with the ability to develop deep, meaningful relationships and was able to connect with people in a way that made them feel seen and loved.  Through the years she taught many Sunday School classes, played lots of music on her guitar, sang beautifully, and was a good friend to many. 

Strong in faith and kind in heart, her family is grateful for the many years we had her love, wisdom, and guidance in our lives. Her memories and life lessons will serve to inspire and comfort generations of her family as part of her Godly legacy.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Angela Burrow (Kevin); son, Shannon (Tami); daughter, Rachel Bowling (Jerry); eight grandchildren, Madison (Jeramy), Savannah (Dalton), Kyla, Luke (Lynley), Abby, Joshua, Alex (Pulkit) and Mia; nine great-grandchildren, Aiden, Cache, Parker, Austyn, Eden-Grace, Wyatt, Lakyn, Ila and Jude; siblings, Del Hill (Linda), Jackie Hill and Laveda Pope; a host of nieces and nephews, extended family and cherished friends.

Ahnean was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; parents; one sister, Sharon Minyard; brothers, O.E., Wayburn and Anthony Hill.  

Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home. Services will be conducted Wednesday, February 28, 2024 at 10 am at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with burial to follow at Dogwood Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Dogwood Cemetery Fund at P.O. Box 21, Griffithville, AR 72060.
