Sarah Irene Allison

Sarah Irene (Pickett) Allison, age 98, went to be with her Lord on June 20, 2009. She was born June 10, 1911 in Ravenden, Arkansas to the late Van Buren and Ruby Pickett. She was a long time member of Kensett First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty-five years, Homer Milton Allison, Sr.; one son, H.M. Allison, Jr.; one brother, Felix Pickett; two sisters, Alma Noster and Vesta Smith.

She is survived by two sons, Vance (Jane) Allison of Baton Rouge, LA. And Meredith (Donna) Allison of Kensett, AR.; one daughter, Annetta Eudy of Kensett, AR.; Eight grandchildren; Fourteen great grandchildren and Eleven great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Tuesday, June 23, 2009 at Searcy McEuen Funeral Home from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at 10:00 A.M. at the Kensett First Baptist Church.

Interment will be a private family burial at White County Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Searcy, AR.
