Shirley Ann Phillips

Ms. Shirley Ann Hughes Phillips, 78, of Whiteville formerly of Searcy, Arkansas, died Monday, June 1, 2020.  She was born January 18, 1942, the daughter of the late Ulysses Mirandus Hughes and Ruby Calhoun Hughes.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, George W. Phillips; grandson, Steven Phillips; granddaughter, Crystal Phillips;  parents; sister, Paulette Southerland.

She is survived by her son, James Phillips and wife, Michelle of Evergreen; six daughters, Debra Lewis and husband, Dave of Midway, AR, Georgia Gottschall of Searcy, AR, Sheila Gatlin of Whiteville, NC, Linda Gilbert and husband, Phillip of Fargo, ND, Brenda Kiraly and husband, Paul of Marinette, WI, Chrystie Phillips of Fort Madison, IA; twenty-one grandchildren, Justin Phillips, Michael Gottschall, Megan Baker, Lucas Gottschall, Jacob Gottschall, Darian Onesti, Sheila Onesti, Isaak Phillips, Cierrah Phillips, D.J. Schrand, Christina Mora, Corey Freeman, Bethany Freeman, Andrew Rhinehart, Casey Rhinehart, Brittney Rhinehart, Reese Schultz, Treylee Munoz, Shelbea Schultz, Marli Phillips, Ayden Schrand; twenty-seven great grandchildren; brother, Donald Hughes and wife, Mia of Parrish, FL; two sisters, Violet Willis and husband, Sidney of Heber Springs, AR,  Kathy Mason and husband, James of Memphis, TN.
