Thomas E. McDonald

Thomas Elzy McDonald, 90 of Bald Knob passed away September 20, 2020. Born December 13, 1929 to Evet and Myrtle McDonald. Tom was a retired trucker driver. He loved to garden, raise hogs, travel, and tell stories of times past and present. He was beloved husband, father, and grandfather.

He married Laverne Hilton on November 6, 1948 in Kensett, AR. They were married 59 years before her passing on April 1, 2007.

He married Margarette Kerns April 26, 2008 in Memphis, TN. He lovingly told everyone this was his sweetheart and that is how he introduced her to many. He loved her children and grandchildren.

Also surviving are: Son, James Denton McDonald, Sr “Yogi” (Wanda), Three grandsons Denton McDonald (Karen) Chris McDonald (Pam) Greg McDonald (Carla). Two great granddaughters Emilee and Hannah McDonald. Three great grandsons Dylan, Andy and Ethan McDonald and one brother Max McDonald. He was proceeded in death by his parents, one daughter Janie Sue Murray, 5 sisters and 3 brothers.
