Velma Mae New

Velma Mae New 82, of Searcy, AR. passed away Wednesday, February 18 2009. She was born October 27, 1926 to the late Jack Fuller and Myrtle (East) Fuller in Bear Creek, Alabama. Velma was an employee of Birds Eye - Cauldwell Milling. She was a member of Logan Church of God Church in Crain Hill, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edgar B. New; two brothers, George Fuller and Theron Fuller; three sisters, Fannie Mae Clark, Bertie Lindsey and Shirley Hite.

She is survived by one niece, Beverly Donnell of McRae, AR., also a host of friends and extended family friends who will miss her dearly.

Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 P.M., Friday, February 20, 2009, at Searcy - McEuen Funeral Home in Searcy, AR.

Graveside funeral service will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, February 21, 2009, at Weir Cemetery in McRae, AR. under the direction of Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
