Vina Geraldine Roberts

Vina Geraldine Roberts, 74, of Kensett died, May 31, 2010 at her home. She was born March 16, 1936 in White County to the late James and Rhoda Lawson Prince. She was a nurse in the nursery of White County and Central hospitals for many years. She was a lifelong member of Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett. One of Ms. Roberts past times was quilting and she will be remembered as a person that loved everybody.

She is also preceded in death by her husband; Robert L. Roberts, two brothers; Gordon and Darrell Prince and one sister; Madge McIntire.

She is survived by four children; Shirley Hagood and husband Mike; Martha Koon, Harold Roberts & wife Kathie; Douglas Eugene (Booge) Roberts and wife Carolyn; Sisters Pauline Ferren; Deltha Mae Taylor; Onie Bell Nimmo and husband Aaron; Tena Rae Butler and husband Everett; and twin sister Vera Mavoline Chouinard and husband Richard. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Catrina Adkinson and husband Bobby; James Long Jr.; Patrick Favors; Natalie Koon and partner Melissa Baker; Prudence and Klaudete Koon, Amanda Brown and husband Steve; Jake and Jeffrey Jr. Koon; Lynn Li Gibson; Tonya Carroll; Shawna Turner and husband Brandon; Kade Young; Jeremiah Kidd, 11 Great-Grandchildren, 7 step great-grandchildren; one uncle, Carl Lawson, sister in-law Catherin Hayes and many nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be 6-8 P.M. Thursday June, 3 at the Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home Chapel.
Funeral Services will be 10 A.M. Friday June 4 at Whitney Lane Family Worship Center in Kensett.
Internment will follow in the Kensett Cemetery under the direction of Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home.
