Violet V. Eady

Violet V. Crawford Eady, 81, of Plainview, passed from this life Friday, June 21, 2013 at her daughter's residence with her family at her side. She was born May 15, 1932 in Judsonia to the late Lavert and Mae Wyningar Crawford.

She was a loving mother, tending to every need of the family; she loved sewing, and hand made her children's clothing when they were young. She was a long time member of Providence E.H. Club and was very active in many of the local community events and attended First Assembly of God in Searcy.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her late husband Bobby Lee Eady on December 6, 2012.

She is survived by her children, Eddie Eady, Charlotte Harrison and husband Carlton, and Pam Simpson and husband Phillip; brothers, Sam Crawford and wife Brenda, Gary Crawford and wife Diane, and Louis Crawford; sister, Fern Barnett and husband Mike; six grandchildren, Justin, Stephanie, Jeremy, Chris, Alex and Austin; three great-grandchildren, Mya, Kaydence, and Austin.

The visitation will be 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 25, 2013 at Searcy-McEuen Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Kensett Cemetery with Bro. Wayne Gray officiating.
